International - issues with contest based in the US + health issue derived from it

i'd like to know if there's any legal basis for filling a lawsuit based on the following facts: contests based in the US is open only to US legal citizens. i'm a non-resident US alien, born and living in brazil. this specific contest was giving backstage passes to meet this artist i'm a fan of (US contest, i was on vacation there). this particular contest does not involve something than can be bought or get otherwise, like a concert ticket, or clothes. the music label which manages the artist (warner music group) has several offices accross the world, meaning they could offer this possibility to other countries - but chose not to: the artist in question performed in brazil this year and there wereno similar contests. also, due to further events, i was left with some psychological issues.

If the contest is open only to US Citizens the inquiry ends there. If you entered a contest you were not eligible to enter, then you have no remedy. Sort of like the possibility of an immigrant remaining in this country past their visa date. It doesn't make you a citizen when you do that. You didn't magically become eligible for the contest merely by being in the US at the time you entered. Your psychological issues are also not likely to yield any result, since in NY (presuming it is a NY based contest) there is no claim for "psychological issues" that arise out of an act of the plaintiff that was voluntarily undertaken, and which likely is the cause in fact of the "psychological issues."

The company is within their rights to limit the contest to US citizens. As such, you would have no basis for a lawsuit under these facts.
