Can a Judge in New York make a US citizen pregnant women to give birth in the States of California so there courts will have legal jurisdiction over child custody from birth until age 18? He judge that the pregnant woman wants to give birth in the Bahamas because the courts in New York will not have legal jurisdiction over child that is conceived in New York. The mother wants to do this because she does not want to respect the father’s legal parental rights under New York law.
