I am trying to prove that 4 mobile homes existed in 1992 on my grandmothers property prior and after 1992, however no City or County records go back that far that document this because of being a mobile home and considered a motor vehicle! I am trying to replace my grandmothers trailer with a new home thru a government program but the City is not willing to certify they existed, they told me to PROVE IT! I can get electrical records on 2 of the 4 that show but the other 2 I can not because the service has been off! There are many city residents, even a city council member that have personal knowledge but that don't seem to be legally acceptable to prove a grandfathering in.

I find that odd because Miami-Dade and Broward down here you can go back electronically easily to the 1980s for deeds and tax records. Public records definitely exist in 1992 in every county- back to the 1800s in many counties. You need to go to the recording office in Lake County and pull copies of the deed for the properties.
