COS from H4 to F1 approved, but if F1 stamping is rejected , can existing valid H4 stamping be used for reentry to US?

Hi, I entered the US with valid H4 stamping. Applied COS from H4 to F1 and am currently in the last semester of my Masters program. I may have to travel outside the country for a couple weeks. When I go for F1 stamping back in my home country or any other country, if my F1 stamping is rejected, can I just use the H4 stamping on my passport to re enter US(my H4 stamping is still valid)? Or should I go for a new H4 stamping? Even if I don't go for F1 stamping, can I just renter US using my H4 stamping?

I think, if your H4 grounds still exist and your Principal still maintains that H1B status then yes, if any of the legal status requirements vanished then no.

If your spouse still holds a valid H-1B status and you have a valid H -4 visa, you can return to the U.S. with the H-4 visa. You will, however, discard the F-1 status.
