How can I find a lawyer in who is fluent in both Japanese and English to help with resolving inheritances issue?

I am trying to find a lawyer in the state of Washington who is fluent in both Japanese and English that can help a relative of mine concerning a inheritance issue that is not able to be resolved between the two parties, one of whom resigns in Japan and the other in Washington State. Does the person residing in Washington State have to retain a lawyer in Japan? or can this be solved state side?

If the assets are in WA then this can be settled here. If in Japan probably there. As for a Japanese speaking attorney try the WA STate Bar association page (linked below). Select Japanese from the other languages menu to receive ~ 120 attorneys who claim to speak Japanese. You can narrow the search by city if you like.
