When can (J1 waiver) bearer who is married to US citizen adjust his status!?

I am a Physician, I came initially to US on J1 Visa, I got a waiver 6 months ago and I am holding H1 Visa now. I got married a US citizen 2 years ago. My question can I start the process of getting my green card through my wife now, since I am not on J1 Visa anymore? If not when?

Hi! Yes you can as long as you have the J-1 Waiver then you are set. The fact that you are currently on H-1B visa will not negatively effect your greencard process since the H-1B visa, is a visa of dual intent. Since you have been married to your spouse for more than 2 years...you won't be subjected to the two year conditional residency...Good Luck!
