The other person whom is my brother did not want to press charges. I even asked to have my probation transfered to another state to get away from the people I was around. they said no(the probation officer) so I just left.

The short answer is - probably not. If the probation officer filed a petition to revoke your probation, your service of time on probation was probably "tolled" - that means it stopped running and you may still have time to serve on your probation and there may still be an active warrant for a probation violation. I would check the county to see if there are any active warrants, first of all. Most counties now have online court records so you can see if there are any open probation revocation actions as well.

There is probably a warrant pending for your arrest for violating the terms of your probation. The probation officer had to account for your case. If you stopped reporting, the officer would have reported that to the court which would have issued a warrant. However, since you presumably have had a clean record for the last ten years, the court may forgive your decision to get way from bad influences around you at the time. You should consult with the attorney who represented you at the time or another qualified criminal defense attorney who regularly appears in the court in which your case was heard. The attorney may be able to have the warrant cleared. Do not wait until you come into contact with authorities and arrested on an old warrant.. Good luck. THESE COMMENTS ARE NOT LEGAL ADVICE. When someone skips out on probation, the probation officer can get a "tolling order." If there is a tolling order, then you have the same amount of time left on your sentence from the date of the order.
