Most likely sentence for non contested misdemeanor charge PC 530.5(a)?

Originally charged with PC 530.5(a) and HS 11173(a). The HS violation was dismissed, and plead no contest to the PC violation. Sentencing is scheduled in November. Just wondering what to expect. Also, if I failed to appear to the first two arraignments for these charges, will they charge me at sentencing? Currently there isn't an official charge. That I know of.

The current question makes little sense. You can only plead to a specific charge or charges. If you did that there is an official charge as you put it. If it's only PC 530.5(a) as a misdemeanor the range is up to one year in the county jail. Few people get the maximum. What you will actually get depends on your prior history. You should explain your confusion to your lawyer. If you don't have one and did this on your own you need a lawyer yesterday.

the maximum sentance is 1 year in jail and fines. They should not charge you with anything for your failure to appear at your arraignment. When your agreed to plead to the PC 530.5 the sentance should have been part of the agreement. Talk with your attorney.
