The air conditioner in our apartment has been broken for 3 days now,
the apartment can't seem to fix it. we have called numerous times a day and they even replaced the unit, but still no ac. the manager doesn't seem to care, what is my next move?

You need to make a repair request in writing and put in it that you will have it repaired if they do not. If not repaired in a timely fashion deduct the amount of the repairs (up to $500) from the next month's rent payment. Take a look at your lease and Texas Property Code, Chapter 92 regarding your rights and the landlord's duties. http://www.statutes.legis.state.tx.us/Docs/PR/htm/PR.92.htm#92.0561
