How many times can a person change a court date for traffic violation in nyc?

I already changed my court date once for a violation ticket which I am sure that I am not guilty. I would like to know if I can change the date again because the date that was chosen by the court it's inconvenient for me. I do not want the judge to take any decision because of the changes of the dates. The ticket was issued in Queens, NY

If you would like to hire our office we go to court for you and deal with you through e-mails and regular mail so that you also do not have to lose time from work to come to our office either. We charge 1 low flat fee for all of our work.

Based in the information you provided I am going to guess that the court you are dealing with is the traffic violations bureau. You have already taken your free adjournment. If you wish to adjourn this matter again you can't do it via phone or Internet. You need to go in to TVB in person and appear in front of one of the judges there to request an adjournment. I encourage you to seek legal counsel. TVB is a very motorist unfriendly court. If you retain an attorney then they handle the adjournment requests and hearing for you.

You can change it but you will have to post a $40 bond which you will get back if you win or use for the fine if you lose. Joseph A. Lo Piccolo, Esq. If the matter is in the traffice violations bureau and the police officer is there on the next date you are going to trial if you want to adjourn the case you need to hire a lawyer also what you believe makes you not guilty may not be a legal defense
