Went to the hospital having contractions. Nurse said to drink water and go home because it was braxton hicks contractions got home and ended up having the baby in the bathroom. Baby has pneumonia and I was not supposed to have a vaginal birth because of a prior caesarian section is there anything we can do?

I agree with Mr. Corwin's answer. It would be wise to seek counsel as soon as possible as medical malpractice cases are tedious and best to start early due their short statute of limitations.

Yes, you should get your baby medical treatment immediately, and if there are any serious complications, call a med mal lawyer in your state to discuss the options.

Yes, of course! The first thing you must do is get proper care for yourself and your baby. You'll need to determine whether you've suffered any injury due to the vaginal birth. As soon as the baby is well, and you feel up to it, start contacting some medical malpractice attorneys in your area. Speak with a few different attorneys and you should receive the guidance and information you need. Good luck!
