I am originally from India but currently in United States in L1 B visa. My visa was expired in 2011 NOV and my company applied for renewal and petition got approved. Now i am planning to go to india and get it stamped. I was checking the consulate website and saw that L1 B visa people should pay fraud prevention fee (around 500 USD) . http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in/in-niv-visafeeinfo.asp Should i pay this money now ?

The fraud fee is only required for the initial visa petition and does not have to be paid again if your status extension was filed by the same employer.

Check with the company lawyer ... it should have already been paid.

The fraud prevention fee was paid once already when the employer filed your initial (first) petition. You don't pay that twice, as long as it's the same employer petitioning for the extension of your same status. Also, it is not you but the employer that needs to pay USCIS fees.
