I am applying for a long stay tourist visa for France. I have a DUI from 2002, lowest one you can get.
Im hoping to get the 6 month visa, but will this offense be cause for denial of that Visa?

Probably not. I speak not as an attorney but as a dual French US citizen. When I got my citizenship I had to present my rap sheets from the US which showed a 1980 conviction for dui. It was no problem. Yours is more recent than mine but as long as it was not a felony I predict you'll get your visa.
