If you are on probation for 2 DWI's within a 6 month period, what constitutes a violation

I bought a car from someone who wanted the car out of her name so as to not have to put the breathalizer in her car. She signed DMV papers that she sold it for $200. I gave her 200 with the understanding that I would pay 750 more and something from her in writing that she would deduct the costs associated with getting the car running. Well, 1200 later the car finally runs and she still wants another 500 from me.

What is it exactly that you are trying to determine? Whether or not the transaction to you would violate the conditions of probation? Probably not.

Sounds like funny businesses on the selling end, but not the kind of thing which would constitute as a criminal violation of probation. If she is driving a car without a breathalyzer, or driving on a suspended/ revoked license, that would constitute as a violation of probation, if her PO so decides. BWT, you did a deal with a convict based on trust?
