My picture is on jailbase.com. How can I have it removed

Business Questions 3 views 3 answers
My record has been expunged and I was proven not guilty. I have tried to email them several times but they have ever gotten back to me. I am currently looking for good jobs and I have gotten every other site to remove my picture by emailing them and sending them a copy of my paperwork. How can I get in touch with them I cannot wait the 90 more days for them to remove the picture. Please someone answer my question because I am really desperate to get it removed not only do they have one picture up they have two of same picture plastered all over google images

Sorry to hear about that. There are multiple websites that have sprung up, some charge money to have them removed, others may remove your picture if you have proof of expungment. I would recommend you hire a criminal defense lawyer to do a "web check" and to clear up as many of those as they can. Good luck, 727.286.6141

Most websites have ways that you can seek to have your photo and info removed. Many charge a fee. Some will do it at no cost if your record is expunged or if the charges were dropped/you were acquitted. Jailbase is one of the few that makes it quite difficult to get in touch with anyone who will help you. I know that they have previously advised me that they remove info after 6 months. By your record being expunged already i would assume that it is has been far more than 6 months. If it has been more than 6 months, you can go to this link for instructions: www.jailbase.com/en/contact/problem

If your record has been expunged it is no longer public record. It is your responsibility to provide these companies with documentation that your arrest record was in fact expunged. If they still refuse to remove your photo you may have a legal cause of action against them. Good luck!
