Working abroad while on H1-B and with I-140/I-485 pending?

My employer needs me on high-importance projects abroad, for the next 6-9 months. I will be splitting my time 75%/25% between Foreign country and US for that time, with frequent back-and-forth trips I have been assured that this is fine from an H1-B standpoint, as payroll is still run in the US (no change in contract), but will this impact my pending I-140/I-485 application? How about at naturalization?

You can stay abroad as long as your advance parole is approved (AP). It does not matter that the H1B is active or not. http://peerallylaw.com

If you make sure that you have a current advance parole document before you leave, you can stay outside the US with having to worry about your H-1B status.
