I'm sorry to hear about this. I don't handle these cases, but there are a handfull of firms that concentrate their practices on bed bugs. Simple google "bed bugs lawyer". Here, I did it for you. www.Bed-Bugs-Lawyer.com

What a tragedy -- I am so sorry to read of it. Talk to a personal injury attorney about possible remedies. I do not practice law in New Mexico and thus, do not know if a brother can pursue a wrongful death claim if there are surviving children or surviving parent(s). A PI attorney will be able to fill you in. Good luck to each of you.

Sorry to hear about your brother. Since he passed, and since the bedbug bites (I assume) were not the cause of his death, you may find it hard to get an attorney to take the case because of the limited amount of damages. Also, not ever sure if you can sue for your brother’s damages. In any event, call a local personal injury attorney to discuss your legal options. Most personal injury attorneys offer free consultations. Good luck.

Sorry to hear about your brother. As a NM attorney, let me give you a little insight as to what you will need to do. Assuming that this event happened in Rio Rancho, you will need to file a petition to appoint a personal representative for the estate of your brother and file it in the Sandoval County Court. You will need an attorney to do this for you. However, the Court will normally appoint the spouse, children, parents and then siblings. So you may be the last choice of the court. You will have a difficult if not impossible time finding an attorney who will do this small case for you. Our firm does not handle this type of case. Personal injury attorneys who do this type of case usually usually charge a contingency fee of one third. It would cost the attorney much more to handle this case than the attorney could hope to derive from any attorney fee. Sorry to give you this bad news, but this may be the type of case that you cannot find an attorney to help you with.
