Can I deny entry to my rental...if so what are the repercussions?

what are my rights? Im a renter who has a lease until 2014!! The bank owns the property and has listed it for sale. A realtor contacted me stating she needs a copy of my key to show the place. Im in Gwinnet county so im unsure of the rental laws here. I would like to think most banks wouldn't start showing the property until the lease is almost up!!! Can I deny entry to my rental, I had no intention on moving and having random stranger roaming through my things is very unsettling to me...Do I have any leverage in this matter... level with me? I just want to live peacefully and continue paying rent until my lease is up!!

Your lease is probably no longer valid. It was between you and the landlord and if the property has been foreclosed on, the bank, not your landlord owns the property. Some commercial leases have clauses preserving leasehold rights but in your situation, your leasehold rights have likely been wiped out. Your lease is over and you will be forced out if they sell the property. You cannot deny entry but you can ask that it be shown during reasonable hours. It's best to cooperate and begin to look at the changes you will be making.
