What will happen to my status if i want to divorce my husband for cheating on me with multiple girls?

Basically i found out that my husband cheated on me before marriage(bachelor party) and after. I feel like I have been used for my money since he is not well off and my family is. At first i was suspicious why he had work meetings late at night so i went through his phone one day and saw the dirty texts he has been sending to girls he met at clubs. Before i got married i was in the States with school visa and after graduation i got a job here and stayed with a temp work visa. We havent been married for 2yrs but i want out of this marriage. it is hurting me mentally and emotionally and i dont think i can wait off the 2yrs to remove the conditional status. What can i do to keep my job and stay here in the states. Is there an alternative way out and not get deported

you can file an I-751 before the two years are up once you are formally divorced. you must demonstrate in that you entered into the marriage in good faith but it ended for what happened. you should not apply without first consulting with an immigration attorney for a full assessment of your case.

I agree with my colleague. Although, you can file a petition to remove conditions after divorce, you have to show that you entered the marriage in good faith or your removal from the United States will result in extreme hardship. Please hire an experienced immigration lawyer to handle your case.

Consult with an attorney about filing to remove your conditions with a good faith waiver

Sorry to hear about your circumstances. Talk to an immigration attorney to review your eligibility for a good faith waiver and to review possible documentation to substantiate your claim. Best wishes.
