PERM EB-2 advertisement requirements for filing Labor Certification
Anonymous2 views3 answers
My employer is filing for my PERM, and have advertised my position in accordance with the filing requirements. In addition to the other recruiting efforts, they have advertised on two Sundays in a newspaper of general circulation, and on a Monday in the same newspaper. For a rural area, where it is the only newspaper, can it be construed that they have completed two steps i.e advertised in the newspaper of general circulation and the local newspaper??
Why do you worry about it? I think your employer's attorney is in the best position to determine what ads and where has to be placed. But you can read FAQ to PERM on the government website, they describe what ads and other sources of advertizement must be chosen. Also, in general, if its a grey line, like you have doubts that it might not work, stay away from it in PERM, if your employer will have to go through supervised process, it's a big headache...
Your employer really, really needs to retain an experienced immigration lawyer to review all the facts, advise them, and handle the case. Your employer can find one through http://www.ailalawyer.com.
