What happens if your DAT incident date does not match actual incident date?

Arrested for grand larceny 4th and given my appearance ticket however the date on the appearance ticket says the incident happened on a date that hasn't even come yet (November 2013) which obviously is not correct. Will this help me in any way

Probably not. The more important date would be the one listed on the court complaint that is filed in court. Good luck.

DAT is not dispositive. It is only the start of the case to get you to court. Wait until the case gets going. Speak with your criminal defense lawyer.

No. You are lucky you got a DAT on a felony. Hire a good criminal defense lawyer.
