I am a Canadian Permanent resident and currently on H1B in US.

I have received a very good offer from a Canadian company and I am thinking of joining them. My spouse is on H1B so I am planning to go on H4B. My Canadian employer is ok if I work remotely couple of days every week. I am planning to stay 3 days in Canada per week for work and rest 4 days (2 business days)in USA. As I will be on H4B and cannot technically work in USA , is that going to cause any concerns if I work remotely for my Canadian employer out of USA over a period of next 6 months till my spouse finds a job in Canada?

Working remotely, as long as it is physically done while you are on US territory, violates the terms of your H-4.

There is no definition of unauthorized employment so it is not possible to give a yes or no answer. You can probably get away with it.

If you do absolutely ZERO productive work/communications while you are physically present in the US ... this will be fine and should not be termed as 'working remotely'. Rather, you only work 3 days a week .... while physically present in Canada. Don't fall prey to the temptation to log into the company's computer 'remotely' while you are in the US ... that would be a no-no.
