Hi I am wondering if anyone has successfully used this decision in a removal case? My attorney said my circumstances are the same as this case and wants to used this decision as my defense in my removal case.

It is a very important and well-regarded case. If your attorney is able to establish that your entry to the USA was procedurally proper, then Quilantan will help for the assertion that the entry was valid for purposes of admission to the United States. I have used this case in Immigration Court and the judge acknowledged that Quilantan is good law.
