6 months from the day of your conviction. You will have t attend DUI School, submit proof that ou completed that, and the reinstate,Eng fee which is $210 in person, or $200 by mail. Even though you don't have a license o have to reinstate your privilege to drive in the State of Georgia. Call 404-657-9300, and ask them what is reflected on your record and what exactly you need to do.
Depends. Some juridictions will not allow you to obtain a DL without having all fines and fees paid. But, unless you have outstanding traffic tickets or otherwise, I don't see why the drug charges would prohibit you from obtaining a valid driver's license. Good Luck!
Is your license is being held up for failure to pay fines and costs, then you'd have to settle those matters with the clerk's office or the collection agency. Contact a local attorney for advice on perhaps getting the fines reduced or getting on a payment plan which may enable you to get a limited use/restricted driver's license to go to work.
In Georgia, a conviction (or guilty plea) to drug charges can cause your license to be suspended. If you had no license to begin with, and you were convicted of a drug charge, there will be a suspension period that must pass before you can obtain a license.
