Have your lawyer make the request, and if you cannot afford to hire one, then apply to the office of the Public defender for an appointed one.

You can file a motion to modify your conditions of probation at any time during the period of probation. If you are indigent, contact the Office of the Public Defender and ask if they can assist you in filing the motion based on indigency.

You have 90 days to ask the judge to modify the sentence. You should have the attorney that handled the case file the request or if you are representing yourself you should submit the request in writing with documentation of your limited income. Otherwise, you will need to come up with the money within the time given to pay the fine or you could violate your probation and face jail time and/or a conviction which could lead to a suspension or revocation of your driver's license.
