I am applying for adjustment of status based on marriage .my Indian passport expired long back.

my question is can i renew my Indian passport based on I-485 pending application.once the immigration accepts my application and send me some notice for fingerprint can i renew my Indian passport based on that. as Indian consulate wants valid visa or I-94 for passport renewal

You need to contact the Indian Consulate and ask them what documents you need to provide to secure a new passport. Each county has its own specific criteria to show nationality and qualification for a passport when living abroad. Good luck.
