don't understand how I can get a $137.00 ticket for tinted windows for a car that I've been driving for 5 years. could have counted hundreds of cars in the mall parking lot with the same. not everyone can afford a new car. how is this fair?

The law is fair. It is the application of the law that is sometimes unfair. However, fairness in the application of law is not required. That is just a fact of life we all have to deal with. Like the other lawyer said, get it fixed, and show the judge proof that you fixed it, and the court may dismiss the charge. Because you will be asking for mercy, be humble and respectful to the judge. It would not be in your best interest to complain to the judge about the unfairness of it all or complain about anything, really. Be extra nice. Good luck.

Unfortunately, you were the one that was caught and not the other vehicles. If you have the tint removed, and show proof of this to the court, they will usually dismiss the charge.

It is not fair, but you have to get it corrected.
