How do I find the name of a deceased relative's lawyer?

My aunt died from old age at 95 at the end of July across the country. Her lifelong friend who is also very old is getting 1/2 of her estate and myself the other. He saw the lawyer early Sept but refuses to give me any information or the lawyer's number so I may call him myself. He hangs up if I call. Do I have any way to get the info myself?

Why do you want to get the attorney's name/number of this "lifelong friend"? Unfortunately, unless something has been filed in public records, you will not be able to find the attorney's name/number without the "lifelong friend"'s help. If something has been filed, you might be able to find it on the internet by putting the state in Google, and searching for the link to the court system. Good luck.
