What are the procedures in New Jersey to stop child support payments

3 views 1 answers
I am fighting the NJ courts to get my children emancipated and stop my child support payments. One is 21, married and in the army and The other is 19 working full time and not enrolled in any school. The court will not emancipate them and now my driver license is suspended for nonpayment of child support. ! What do I do? My children are full grown adults yet I'm still required to pay child support! What can I do?

You need a lawyer. This is a ball of snakes and you need a sword to cut the know (please pardon the mixed metaphor). There are many issues here that don't allow adequate treatment in such a small space. Contact the Orange County Bar Association lawyer referral number, or The Florida Bar to find someone who does the kind of work need.
