I currently live at Southwinds and I have a 72 YO grandmother that has Throat and Lung cancer. I wanted to move in with my mother and her to assist her with my grandmother's illness. Now they are telling me that I have to pay two month's worth of lease breakage fee. Is their anything I can do

A lease is a binding contract. A 2 month termination fee sounds reasonable. You might try to sublease, but that may be more trouble than it is worth. Sorry.

Hi Sorry to hear about your grandmother : ( You should look at the lease to see what it says concerning the early termination of the lease. Look for defects in the apartment or other violations of Massachusetts law (like taking a security deposit and not properly handling it). If you did give a security deposit, I'd call a LOCAL attorney to discuss your case. If the landlord made a mistake with the security deposit (or if there are defects with the apartment), you may be able to use that as leverage to get you out of the lease without paying. Good luck
