Do you get jail time for indecent exposure ?

I have a clean record , and I have never been in trouble with the law . I just got out of the military with an honorable discharge . I am told the lady is Doing a private prosecution warrant . My question is with this being my first offense ever my entire life , if found guilty , will I do jail time? Or just get a fine? Or both ? I am wondering about if I'm going to jail for so many months or if it will just be a fine for a first time offense ?

Morristown, this is your third post. Get a lawyer. Create a confidential relationship and get specific advice. You're not going to get better advice online which isn't confidential and usually non-specific.

Sentences are based upon the facts of the case and prior history. Your history is good but what were the circumstances of the exposure? Were there children around? Any other aggravating facotrs?

You keep posting the same repeated requests to receive assurances that you will not get jail time, when the only thing you need to do is to retain a local criminal counsel to make sure that does not happen.

While I understand your worry. I echo the sentiments of the other attorneys. The best assurance and peace of mind you can get is through your own attorney. Its worth the money for the peace of mind to know someone is on your side with your best interests at heart.
