Is it considered kidnapping if: a) hes your underage bf; b) his family makes his life hell because he's gay?

So my boyfriend is underage. His family doesn't know he's gay. He told his stepmom and now she's trying to out him. His family would disown him or worse. They are openly hostile about homosexuality. Apart from us running away together and me possibly ending up in prison for kidnapping or worse, is there anything we can do?? He's talking about killing himself and I can't let that happen. I love him and I don't know how I would be able to survive without him. He's the love of my life and I just don't know what to do!!! :/
