Can legal separation or a divorce protect me from having to disclose my assets and income to the Holland court?

My husband is from Holland and we got married in the US years ago and have a daughter. I am an american. His ex wife lives in Holland with his daughter and is trying to go after my assets and income since we are married/ household. If we file for a divorce or a separation, will this remove me from having to submit any data to support her lifestyle? The dutch law indicates if you live together and not married, your partner still is required to show income. etc? Do I not qualify since I live in the US and got married in the US? What are the international laws with Holland?

Since you don't indicate that you're a Dutch national, and you do say you live in, and were married in, the US, it's not clear to me what authority, if any, a Dutch court has to make YOU personally do anything. Whether or not your HUSBAND can be required to disclose financial information ABOUT you in or to a Dutch court would be a question he'll have to take up with an attorney in Holland.
