My organization assist Homeless Veterans and Less fortunate elderly & teens with housing, food, clothing and referral services. In order to raise funds to provide these services free of charge to individuals we design and sale greeting cards, t-shirts, hats, tote bags, etc. We would like to have our logo design protected. Because all funds go back into the organization to provide these services we need as much financial assistance as possible. For this we are seeking an Attorney that would be willing to assist us with our trademark pro-bono.

You can try searching Google or , but it is unlikely this type of work will be done on a pro-bono basis.

All patent attorneys handle trademarks. You can try calling a competent patent attorney, e.g., Curtis Harrington, Jr., in Long Beach - 562-594-9784, and see if he will give you some kind of reduced fee services. Or go to LegalZoom which appears to help with Trademark Registration for about $200.

It may be difficult for you to obtain counsel who will perform such work for free. However, low cost options are possible, as Mr. Givner has indicated. Even if you find an attorney who will obtain trademark protection for your organization entirely pro bono, your organization will have to pay trademark fees with the application, which may be substantial. Good luck in your enterprise!
