Need help dropping class 6 open felony to a misdemeanor charge

I'm assuming your husband is on supervised probation. If the original probation grant was for 2 years, after 1 year (1/2 of the probation term) he can request that his probation officer submit paperwork for: (1) early termination of the probation grant; AND (2) designation of the undesignated offense as a misdemeanor. Have your husband attempt to have this issue resolved with his probation officer first. Good luck!
