What is the ramification of lying about eviction history on a rental application?

After 5 months of tenancy, the tenants reported bedbug issue that we are sure did not exist before they moved in. After filing a landlord-tenant complaint for 2 months nonpayment of rent, they based their defense on the bedbug issue. The judge who I found out later was on a friendly basis with them gave them judgment without any mention of rent. Meanwhile I found out they had been evicted Twice in the 12 months prior to renting from us. At least one of those landlords is willing to testify in court. They stated they had never been evicted on their rental application. Can I get possession based on fraud and sue for damages for the bedbug issue they have caused and back rent? How long would it take to get them out?

I have filed for eviction proceedings in the past based on a fraudulent application, but the leases did contain provision that allowed for an eviction in the event the application information was found to be incorrect or mis-represented.
