I sent an application (i30, i485, g325a, i765, i864 and i693), to Chicago IL, I live in Miami, but it said that if you are mailing i30 and i485 to mailed there. I sent all and the receive it on Wednesday , my question is, Do they call me when everything starts? How long do the take to send a letter back saying that they started already?

Within the next 2-3 weeks you'll get the receipts for all the Forms, except the I-864 and G-325s. If everything was properly filed, with the proper initial supporting documentation (marriage cert., proof of US citizenship, your birth cert and translation) and there were no mistakes or omissions on the affidavit of support or any of the Forms, you will then be scheduled for fingerprints to be taken within 2 months or so. Within a month after that you'll receive your combo employment authorization and travel document (advance parole) card and a month or so afterwards you'll receive the interview notification letter, for a month and a half later, for you and your spouse to appear in person at your local USCIS district office - if approved at the interview, your conditional green card valid for 2 years will be sent to you within a week to 10 days after that.

You will not get a call. All communications will be by written notice, so make sure you keep your address up to date with USCIS.

I am based in South Florida. The receipts from Immigration generally arrive within one month. Within one month after that, the foreign national will receive a fingerprint appointment notice. If it is taking longer, you may want to speak to an immigration attorney or call Immigration yourself.
