Can I be compensated/prosecute city?
I am a crime victim, survived deadly shooting in NYS in 2006 of a senseless crime I had nothing to do, nor included me. The crime victim foundation did not compensate at all. I am now disabled!

Too much time has passed for a lawsuit to be brought against anyone. You may be able to recover something from the crime victim compensation fund.

Unfortunately, probably not. However, you could contact the district attorney's office that prosecuted the case to make sure no stone is left unturned.
