Get copies of your entire Texas file from the State of Texas, including all the court orders and all the printouts showing the payments and current status of the account. Then send it in to California. You may want to send it multiple times via every way possible: fax, certified mail, regular mail, email, etc. Send it to multiple people in CA multiple times if need be. Keep proof of mailing and copies of everything you sent in case you need to send it again. Ask them to get back to you to acknowledge they received it and that they have updated their records. Then start calling if they do not acknowledge it, keepinig a log of everyone you talked to, when you talked to them, and what they said. You will have to be persistent. It's not fair to have to do this but sometimes you have no choice. Don't rest until you get something in writing showing that it has been fixed. This should fix it if everything is in Texas. If there are CA court orders for child support (you should have been served with a petition asking for one if this is the case), then you need to find out what the CA order says and talk to a CA attorney about what you can do. Call the family courthouse in the area where she lives and see if you can have a clerk search for cases under you name. If one turns up, pay for a copy to be sent to you. I hope this helps.
