I got a ticket from a state highway patrol officer but on the ticket the wrong court is marked.

When i showed up they said i wasn't supposed to be there. He marked maumme court but they said i should be at Toledo. Can something like this dismiss a ticket?
You should argue that your rights to notice and due process were violated. However, it is critical that you contact the correct court. Otherwise the court may issue a bench warrant for failure to appear.
Possibly but you would most likely need a good attorney to assist you. I have seen way to many try and represent themselves on traffic violations and have seen very few people do it well. Most of the time it is very painful for me to sit and watch a person who has a good case screw it up by representing themselves. It is important that you make sure you know what court to be in and if the paperwork is filed because it could result in a warrant and license suspension.

I agree with Attorneys Fenbert and Beck. Assuming the officer marked the ticket incorrectly and the clerk's office is not mistaken, then it is possible. Of course, the officer and /or the clerk's office could take quick action to fix their mistake. In any case, I would contact to clerk's offices to find out if there is a case pending against you in either court. Even if you were initially sent to the wrong court, it would be a mistake to ignore any pending case.
In any case, I highly recommend that you consult with counsel as soon as possible to review your situation and possible options.
