You need a good criminal defense attorney ASAP. Felony DUI under 23153(a) and 23153(b) of the Vehicle Code can carry up to 3 years in prison. The infliction of great bodily injury (such as a broken arm) can add an additional 3 years to the sentence under Penal Code section 12022.7. Are you going to prison? First, it depends on whether or not you're convicted. You don't say what your blood alcohol level was and whether or not you have any defenses, etc. The potential sentence is severe, but a judge can also grant probation with anywhere from no time in jail up to a year in county jail. What you'll actually get depends of the particular facts of your case, your blood alcohol level and what you do between this moment and when you go to court. Start finding an attorney today and discuss your options with them in a face-to-face consultation.

You can go to state prison for the time periods indicated by Mr. Dane. If there are mitigating circumstances the judge could give you probation w/county jail time instead. However with a serious injury like a broken arm your case will require an excellent lawyer to avoid state prison.
