I work in ND for 6 weeks and then I am home for 2. Is there anyway to fight washington state Interlock device laws ?

I get charged every time I go home because I am not home when my car is due for the interlock calibration. I work 12 hour days everyday and the closet place to do maintenance is 3 hours away so I can not bring my car over here either. Plus I have to pay 20 extra dollars a month for a camera. I had the interlock for two years before they passed this law ? Why was I not grandfathered in. I have done everything I can do to remain Legal. but washington state keeps changing laws, raising prices and its just simply not fair. What will change next year that I cant fight

You need to retain an experienced attorney in WA to help you sort this out. It may be that you were grandfathered in and simply do not know how to enforce it. A good attorney will earn the fee you pay. Your livelihood is at stake here. Use the "Find-a-Lawyer" tool here on to find an experienced attorney in your area. Best of luck to you.
