Depending on the facts, violation of probation is not always an immediate return to jail. There are chances for stricter probation or more personal screening that may keep you out of jail. However, missing two hearings is also not going to help. Go get a local criminal defense lawyer to review your case and let you know of your chances. The facts that you have a child and a job also may be beneficial to you, but you also can not violate probation and miss hearings and not expect to suffer consequences. Good luck to you. Do not miss any more hearings and speak with an attorney right away. Many have payment plans as well as free consultations.
