Can my employer force me to be video taped with audio which they then upload online?

They claim this is for training purposes to do role play which is video taped on a IPad that is used by multiple employees who will have acess to this video and then eventually uploaded to an online website. The management team refuse to disclose what will the video will then be used for or who it may be seen by.
You have no legal expectation of privacy at work, and therefore, can be audio and video recorded without your permission and without notice anywhere at work other than the bathroom and the designated area for changing clothes. There is no such thing as workplace privacy and your employer's actions are legal. They can not make money off your likeness without your consent, but there is no indication that is happening here. Also, please keep in mind that NY is an "at will" employment state which means that your employer can fire you at any time without just cause as long as it is not related to your race, religion, ethnicity, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability and familial status, and not in retaliation for whistleblowing illegal conduct, taking FMLA leave and filing for disability/workers compensation. So if you refuse, your employer can fire you and it is not illegal.
If your employer wants to use you as an example to train other employees, you should feel flattered. Just my two cents. And yes they can require you to participate in a training video.
