Wow, I am getting very contradictory information from California attorneys. I don't know about California but in Colorado....
In Colorado the Colorado State Board of Medical Examiners have a policy for dealing with this it is Policy Number 40-08, Guidelines for Closure of, or Departure from a Medical Practice. The policy clearly states that is is the responsibility of practitioners and all other parties ensure that.... They focus on the patient and not on protecting the business of the medical practice. I would like those California attorneys (or anyone else) who responded to the question to read those policies and see if they maintain the same opinion. Thanks
