I need an attorney to work pro-bono or on contingency - i have an employer that did not pay me all of my wages and commissions

I worked for Texas Tax Group office manager Margie Magdy has not paid me monies owed & the president of the company Dino Marcaccio has allowed it to happen. They also have an attorney named Jeff Jansen that works with them and he knows what is going on. I won my case with the state against them proving I was an employee and not a contract worker. Margie has not fixed that situation yet for 2012 and 2013 along with me being owed commissions and base pay that she switched to a draw. They have wronged at least 8 people. They now hire people from the Philippines and I believe India. Dino Marcaccio brags about how well he treats his employees and all he is doing is taking money from us. Its an audit company for goodness sakes that help people with their audits if they are cheating the employees what are they doing with their clients "allegedly". I need assistance to fight for my money. I can not prove a negative. I have no evidence but I do know that if someone reviews Texas Tax Group Records they will find I am owed about $30,000.00 to $40,000.00. As I stated they owe other employees also. I need help. It is not fair that an audit company can get away with "allegedly" stealing money from me the employee.

Its not a good idea to post all of that specific information on a public forum such as . Also, unfortunately this forum doesn't really function as a jobs bulletin board, so you may not get much in the way of a response to your post. You will have to take the initiative and contact attorneys to find one to represent you. Use the Find a Lawyer tab on this site to look for employment law attorneys in your area to consult with... Best of luck to you... THESE COMMENTS MUST NOT BE CONSIDERED LEGAL ADVICE. Those kinds of businesses have had many problems and the first large TV advertising one..., Taxmas---s I believe was shut down entirely. To recovery wages earned or commissions owed for such work presents many legal issues to overcome. Certainly, the most important underlying factor is what proof or evidence you have and what witnesses. You need to gather all you have got, emails, texts, company policies, pay stubs, w-2's etc and sit down with an Attorney for consultation to see if it even can be handled on a contingency fee. The lawyer would have to invest likely $10-30,000 if it is all hard fought and if they take it for 40% contingency fee, it makes no sense. Still there may be insurance policies or other issues or ways to get a settlement. Email lawyers to set something up! You have to contact them... they can not contact you directly to solicit potential work since that is a crime in Texas.

You can use the find a lawyer tool to get some names to call, or you can contact the Houston Bar Association lawyer referral service for someone who will meet with you for a small initial fee.
