Pre-trial diversion, if you qualify, differs from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. Also,"entering a guilty plea" may contradict entering a pre-trial diversion program. A DUI conviction will follow you for life as Alabama law currently stands. You definitely need to hire an experienced DUI attorney.

Pre-trial diversion is nearly always at the complete discretion of the prosecuting authority and may or may not be offered, depending on the facts of the case (breath test result, for example), whether the arresting officer agrees, your prior record, if any, and a variety of other factors. It is impossible to answer this question without knowing the specific facts of your case. It is always in your best interests to seek the professional services of a qualified criminal defense attorney and especially one that specializes in the defense of DUI cases.

It doesn't have to be offered but Alabama is one of the few States where it is a possibility. The attorney you hire should seek it assuming the State can prove all elements of the offense beyond a reasonable doubt. There are many defenses and grey areas in DUI law and too much, in my opinion, is left to the discretion of police officers to later be ferreted out in court. The video often helps as well. Tell your lawyer all the facts you know and build a defense. you will also increase your chances of getting diversion.
