Potential uninsured motorist claim. Sometimes this is beneficial. Contact local and qualified counsel asap as there may be short notice requirement.s

I am sorry to hear about what happened. Depending on your particular insurance coverage, you may be covered for this accident. You should contact an Ohio attorney and have they review your insurance policy to determine your options.

Sorry to hear of this ordeal. You should speak with an experienced Ohio licensed personal injury attorney immediately. An experienced injury attorney will be able to review the facts and advise you on how to proceed with your claims. You may have coverage under your own policy for your the damage to your vehicle, to pay for your medical treatment and possibly uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage. I would strongly discourage you from attempting to resolve this matter on your own. Insurance companies are only looking out for their own interests, not yours. You should not speak with representatives of the insurance companies without first speaking with an attorney. Generally, these cases are taken on a contingent fee basis, which means you would not be required to pay any upfront fees to your attorney. You should continue to follow your doctors' advice and get any treatment necessary. Best wishes.

Consult with an experienced personal injury attorney. They can pursue a UM claim on your behalf, if you have coverage and/or find other possible coverages that might apply.

If you have uninsured motorist coverage, you can make an claim with your own insurance carrier. If not, you are in a tough position as far as a bodily injury claim is concerned. You can file a lawsuit against the at-fault driver, but that may be a long and expensive process that leads to an uncollectable judgment, or a judgment which the driver promptly discharges in bankruptcy.

The answer to that question depends upon whether your Nationwide policy has uninsured/underinsured motorists' coverage for the accident in question, and whether the car is covered, and also whether his injuries are covered. You most definitely need some qualified personal injury attorney to read your policy to see whether this coverage exists for this accident. Do not go by what anyone from Nationwide may have told you. They may or may not have been right about they may have told you.

You should contact a personal injury attorney in OH who can look into the insurance options for you but also any potential dram shop claim. If the drunk driver was served too much alcohol at a restaurant or bar, the facility may be on the hook as well.
