What kind of time am I looking at? VC23153(a)/VC23153(b) and a bunch of enhancements.

Also charged with chemical test refusal, serious felony, inflict great bodily injury, DUI injury, and other counts of GBI. It's my first offense. Is it likely to be similar to a misdemeanor? My friend had a misdemeanor DUI and he had to take some MADD class and another 3 months of classes and be on probation for 5 years. Am I really going to jail?

Your case is much, MUCH more serious than your friend's basic DUI. You are likely facing felony DUI with injury charges and potentially with enhancements for great bodily injury. On just thT charge Nd one enhancement, you face six years in custody. This could not be more serious. You need a good criminal defense attorney. I'd strongly suggest you find someone who focuses on criminal law and who routinely practices in the court where this case will be heard. You also only have 10 days from your arrest to contact the DMV to set up a hearing or they will automatically suspend your license. Get a lawyer NOW.

This is NOTHING like a misdemeanor. If you have felony DUI charges, with bodily injury and several enhancements, you need to get an attorney ASAP! You are facing a MINIMUM of 16 months in prison - not work release, prison. Alignment with potential strikes. Don't go to arraignment without the best attorney you can afford.

Your case is far more serious than a typical DUI as your friend had. You face serious jail time because of the GBI , lose of license for refusal . This will probably be filed as a felony. Lawyer up NOW! You have major issues in front of you.
