If my speeding citiation lists an incorrect direction of travel and incorrect owner, will that help dismiss the citation?

I was pulled over for 70 in a 65 in WV. I was traveling west in my girlfriends car. The trooper listed on the citation i was traveling east and that i was the owner of the vehicle. He also verbally told me and the 4 passengers in the vehicle that he clocked me on radar at 80.

Errors and inaccuracies on any sort of police report or ticket can potentially be used to suggest that the police officer conducted a sloppy investigation or failed to correctly document the events surrounding the alleged crime. The best thing you could do would be to contact a qualified attorney to discuss the matter within the confines of attorney-client confidentiality. The error is sometimes helpful but usually only goes to the amount of confidence the judge will have in the officer. Little things like the direction are not really evidence. In fact, the court is not supposed to look at that part but only the charge. I have tried to make something out of it before, but usually, it is making a mountain out of a mole hill.

This error may help but alone will not invalidate your citation. Such errors do sometimes give rise to defenses that can be raised. You need to be represented by an attorney skilled in these matters, though, to take advantage of any potential defenses. Good luck to you.
